Enough rain has fallen
News from the Mountain

Way too much rain keeps falling up here on the mountain and no relief seems to be in sight for us in the future.

I’ve decided no more being nice about the little wrens setting up house in my bird houses on the baker’s rack on our patio. They’ve taken off in flight with the little ones tagging along. They thought the bathroom was all over our patio with chairs, cushions, table, and even my pickup wasn’t spared as it too, was in their line of fire. Black adhesive tape will be used to go over openings on several birdhouses to keep out their nests. Gave the birds an inch and they took over the place. Not going to do that again.

As unbelievable as it sounds, I’m working outside and also inside cleaning the house. This is a first for me. I believe I can’t let this be habit-forming for me just because I’m really liking the progress I’ve made inside getting rid of a lot of dust. You know I’ve made a promise to myself that I will never let our house get this dusty again. I also said I would not eat all that candy that was left over Halloween last year so don’t believe everything I say or print.

Keep these people in prayer: Carlon and wife Mai Nell Melton. Carlon is improving some. He’s in River Park Hospital in McMinnville. Also keep in prayer, Charlie Mai Daniel, and Denise Stanton.
