Love the warm temps but not the wind
News from the Mountain

March winds have been blowing pretty fierce this past few days. You would think the ground would get dried out if this kept up, but the rain is moving back in on Thursday with on and off rain chances through the weekend. Do not like all the rainfall, but I’m loving those temps in the 70s aren’t you?

Getting a little outside work done this week and got some of those wild onions mowed down with the push mower. So many flowers are now making their appearance even more with each shower of rain that we get.

Visitors at our house recently Lynn Underwood and son Hunter, Wilma Sue Barrett, and Ashley Bequette.

Sad news to report on the passing of Betty Gunter (the late Eugene Gunter’s wife) on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Betty was 79 years old. She had cancer, the aggressive kind, and was gone so quickly from us. A wonderful and caring Christian lady always so gracious and I sure did love the talks we had for so many years. Betty missed Eugene so very much. Now she is in the Lord’s presence and her beloved Eugene. All is fine with her now and she is perfectly well with no pain only happiness. Betty was ready to go home with Jesus. I’ve known that for a long time. Looking forward to the day I’ll see her again, because the best for all of us that have accepted Jesus Christ, God’s son, as our personal Savior is yet to come.

Please keep the following people on your prayer list: the family of Betty Gunter, Fay Pitts, Ruth Brown, Edith Miller, Charlie Mai Daniel, the family of Michael Underwood, Denise Stanton, the Luther Lawrence family, the family of Bobbye Harrison, Donna Lawson, and also Carlon and Mai Nell Melton.
