Rain chances back in the forecast this Thursday afternoon through the weekend. I was getting used to the drier conditions around here to get the outside work under control. So much rain has fallen and it’s really going to take a while getting yards and flower beds cleaned up. Sure hope we don’t get a ton of rain. Brother has told me possibly two to three inches of rain in some locations, when all is said and done. I am not a happy camper about that.

Pastor Chris Moore had a good sermon this past Sunday on “Mother’s Day”. The mother should be the “Queen of the House” as she has so many countless jobs to do in keeping the household running smoothly and always seeking God to help direct her in everything she says and does. Little ones have big ears and are always listening and watching us adult’s when we don’t suspect it.

Hats galore were worn by several ladies at church on Sunday as it was also “Hat Day.’

Some people I’m glad to report to you are doing better: Alene Ferrell, Bernie Braswell, and Bill Nokes.

Do keep Charlie Mai Daniel and the family of Carlon Melton in your prayers and give comfort to those of us going through rough situations and the loss of our dear loved ones. He is a good God simply put the only true God there is. A wonderful and magnificent God He is and with Him all things are possible to those that step out in faith believing. The most important decision you and I can make in our life is to accept Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, as our Lord and personal Savior. Trust me your life will be the best it’s ever been when you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. He’s just waiting with open arms to welcome you into God’s kingdom for all of eternity. Don’t fall prey to this pitiful world that wants to doom you. You are worth it all to God His Son proved that at Calvary on the cross dying for our sins.
