Plenty of sunshine to go around these days and sort of bring us back to life, after the dismal winter we have just experienced. The on and off rain showers so good for the flowers that are coming on now. Each day I can tell a difference in their growth. From our patio, the view of the trees on the mountain a sight of beauty to behold. There’s so much to enjoy around here in any direction.

Still not the first hummingbird have I seen around here and that is very unusual. Friend told me at church she saw her first one the other day. Up and down weather being cooler may have delayed them showing up. They probably keep up with all these winters we have like we do ya reckon?

Picked up a small paperback book at our church yard sale a couple of weeks ago entitled “The Power of the Tongue”. Page 3 read death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it for death or life. Proverbs 18:21, the amplified Bible. Jesus said, “I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by the words thou shalt be condemned” Matthew 12:36-37.

Yes, the tongue is certainly a powerful weapon that can be used to hurt people or to glorify our Lord. As Christians, we should be found showing the love of Jesus each and every day to all those we come in contact with. Forgive those that may have said bad things about you and just take it in prayer unto the Lord. He knows how to take care of the whole matter in His time. This life we are living here is not about us, it is all about Him. Praise and worship Jesus daily. He loves us all and doesn’t want any to perish so be sure to tell everyone how great he is.
