I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed their time with family and friends.

I celebrated with my family at the home of Rebecca Ervin. We had our traditional Christmas breakfast at night this year since Christmas fell on Sunday. So Sunday morning we attend church Bro. Bobby Hale preached a good message as always. I enjoy his preaching as his messages you can apply to your everyday life. We are blessed to have Bobby, Ciara and Harper at New Home Missionary Baptist Church.

I enjoyed Christmas day with my children and my granddaughter. Seems like you shop for that perfect gift and all the presents are wrapped and in a few minutes it’s all unwrapped and over.

But I enjoyed my time spent with family. Are you ready for 2017? It will soon be here. I will be bringing in the New Year with my church family. I hope to make it until 12 p.m. but I find it unlikely unless I have a nap in the middle of the day.

Pray for the families that have lost loved ones, the sick and the soldiers that are not at home with their love ones. May God comfort these people in their time of need.
