Here we are in the middle of February, a short month. And then March comes in with the big Election Day.
Early voting has been on a high. I hope people in DeKalb County will take the time to vote. The election in other states has really taken over the news these past weeks. The rain may be a factor.
Many thanks to Mr. Agee the Road Supervisor in making the Pre-K road at Smithville Elementary better to exit on. The bumpy road was hard on these parents' cars. Thanks to the road staffs in keeping all our roads better.
Get-well wishes to: Laird Barnard, Larry Tatum, Don Fuson, Sara Brown, Jane Eller, Karly Campbell, Kelly Vaughn, Bob Pettis, Charlotte Bandy (surgery), and Betty Gunter (Kathy Carpenter's mother).
Sympathy to the families of Clarence Neely, Bobby Joines and several others.
Happy birthday the first week in March to: Shea Vaughn, Irene Young, Dolton Theriaque, Jeremy Judkins, Regina Estes, Charlotte Barnard, Fay James and Dr. Scott Little.
Thought of the Week: "When you have too much on your plate, get a bigger plate."
Amen.
