Young Men United and Black History Museum hosted a Black History program on February 25 at 103 Bernard Drive in McMinnville. The topic was 2023 Black Resistance and the honored speaker was Smithville’s Kirstin Ramsey, TBI uniformed officer.

This program was for our younger children to give them the knowledge and understanding of what the history was, and is at this time; we want the children to understand that. Shown here are, front row from left, Kirsten Ramsey, Don Crips, Billie Ann “Bee” Tubbs-Trigueros and Ella Richmond.  Back row are, from left, Howard Henny, Wayne Wolford, Alicia Strode, Rob Woods, Rita Ramsey and Stevie Nowlin.
