The Smithville-DeKalb County Chamber presented a Community Improvement Award to Button Willow General Store and Coffee Shop located at 114 West Main Street in downtown Smithville for their beautiful interior renovation.

New additions include a new and much longer coffee bar with additional seating, new deck areas by the front windows with street view seating, new kitchen section that includes specialty olive oils, spices, and a guitar and banjo section. You can also grind your own coffee beans or make your own natural peanut butter for the freshest taste in town.

The Community Improvement Award is awarded to individuals, groups, and businesses who exhibit high standards in maintaining the beauty of our community through projects such as landscaping, recycling, clean-up initiatives, and overall care and concern for the preservation and improvement of the natural and manmade assets of DeKalb County, Tennessee.

If you would like to make a Community Improvement Award nomination, please email Suzanne Williams at swilliams@dekalbcountychamber.org, text 615-464-7760, or call the Chamber at 615-597-4163.
