Christ Point Church won Tree of the Year Monday night at the annual Festival of Trees held at the DeKalb County Complex. The tree collected the most gifts at 195. It was also voted Most Unique Tree during the event. Prettiest Tree went to Center Hill Realty & Chalets, Best Themed Tree went to WJLE with its Golden Oldies theme, DeKalb Animal Shelter won Most Touching Theme and The Tree I Would Like in my Living room went to DeKalb Prevention Coalition. The event gathered a total of 705 gifts which were donated to the Last Minute Toy Shop.
