The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department arrested two people on Wednesday, November 15, following a drug investigation. Chief Deputy Brian Williams says 41-year-old Alton Lee Cohea Jr., of West Main Street, Smithville, and 29-year-old Allyson Judkins of South Mountain Street, Smithville, were charged in the case.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 600 East Broad Street in Smithville at the Magnolia Inn, room 110. While executing the search warrant, detectives found 95 grams of methamphetamine, 5.59 grams of fentanyl, one Suboxone pill with Suboxone powder in a baggy, eight grams of marijuana, and 16 grams of marijuana resin.
Other items found was packaging material for sale and delivery and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia that includes 18 glass pipes, two marijuana grinders, 190 packaging bags, two marijuana cigarette rollers, two electronic scales, two packs of rolling papers, six lighters, and four containers.
Cohea is charged with Sale and Delivery of Schedule II Methamphetamine, Sale and delivery of Schedule II Fentanyl, Sale and Delivery of Schedule III Suboxone, Sale and Delivery of Schedule VI Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is under a $162,500 bond. Judkins is charged with Simple Possession of Schedule II Fentanyl. She has a $4,500 bond. Both will appear in General Sessions Court November 29.
