Dungeons and Dragons at the Library
D&D

Justin Potter Library will begin Sign-ups for a Dungeons & Dragons Teen Night on September 6th, 2022 and will end when the club roster is filled OR until October 3rd. This club is aimed at teens between the ages of 13- 18. The D&D Teen Night’s first club activity will be October 4th at 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM. The club will start out hosting a game every first Tuesday of the month at 4:30 PM for its members.

What is D&D and why might your child be interested in this club? In Dungeons & Dragons, the players form an adventuring party that explores fantasy worlds together as they embark on epic quests and level up in experience. Role playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons, can increase a person's self-confidence, creativity, and foster social and emotional growth. Playing D&D also helps with measured academic skills like reading, writing and mathematics.

If you have a teen who is interested, we encourage you to swing by Justin Potter Library or call to sign up. With our limited space, we can only accept a fixed number of teens so make sure to get your name on our list for your D&D adventure!
