Starting February 1, 2021 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Everlywell testing will be held 9a.m. to 11 a.m.. You have to be 18 years and older to test, have a smartphone to register your test and put in your information, need a working email, test yourself, and results come back in 3-5 business days. On Tuesday and Thursday testing time is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. all ages can test, nurse will administer the test and results come back in 24-48 hours.

Center Hill Soccer Club, Feb. 11
Center Hill Soccer Club will be having a public board meeting Thursday, February 1 at 6 p.m. in the UT Extension Meeting Room. The agenda for the meeting will be to elect new officers for the board and to discuss the future plans for Center Hill Soccer. We encourage any and all interested parents to attend the meeting. Social distancing guidelines will be observed and all attendees are asked to wear a mask.
Sobriety Checkpoints, Feb. 12
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint February 12, 2021 on State Route 96 in DeKalb County.
DeKalb Youth Baseball Signups starting, Jan. 30
The DeKalb Youth Baseball signups will be held at the County Complex UT Extension Office, 722 South Congress Boulevard, Smithville on January 30, February 6, 13 and 20th. Registration fees are $65 per child and $50 for each sibling. Please bring proof of player age and proof of residency. Player ages determined by what age player is as of May 1, 2021. L.B.J. & C. Head Start, Feb. 15
The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Head Start Centers and the Central Office will be closed February 15, 2021 in observance of President’s Day.
Blood Assurance Drive, Feb. 16
A DeKalb County Blood Assurance Drive will be Tuesday, February 16 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Ascension Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital inside the Bloodmobile at the hospital parking lot. All donors will receive a “Loyal Lifesaver” t-shirt and be entered into a drawing for a “2021 Side-by-Side ATV Save time by answering your health history questions the day of the blood donation before you arrive. Download “bloodassurancequicksreen” on your phone and answer the questions online. Blood Assurance will also be doing COVID Antibodies Screening. Commodity Distribution, Feb. 25
The Upper Cumberland Human Resources Agency will hold a commodities distribution for DeKalb County on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the DeKalb County UCHRA office. Sign up will be available at the distribution site.
