Smithville, TN—Griffin’s Produce is excited to announce a special fundraiser in support of God’s Food Pantry, a local nonprofit organization that provides food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in the community. The fundraiser features a “Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin” contest, where participants pay $1 to submit their guess. All proceeds from the event will go directly to God’s Food Pantry, as the pumpkin was donated by Griffin’s Produce. The winner will be contacted by phone and announced after the pumpkin is weighed on October 29.

God’s Food Pantry, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is one of the few organizations in the area dedicated to supporting those in need with essential food supplies. Pat Zornow, who runs the pantry, visited Griffin’s Produce recently for a photo opportunity with the Seagraves and the team.

“We’re thrilled to partner with God’s Food Pantry and support their mission of helping those in need in our community,” said Philip Seagraves, co-owner of Griffin’s Produce. “We encourage everyone to come by, guess the pumpkin’s weight, and contribute to this great cause.”

Griffin’s Produce is located at 316 W. Broad Street, Smithville. For more information, stop by the market or visit their Facebook page.
