The Chamber presented Jackie Smith with the “Community Spotlight Award” last Thursday.  Jackie is taking a well-deserved retirement after 14 years of serving as an educator in the DeKalb County School System then over 35 years as an insurance agent with State Farm.  She served on the Chamber Board from 2004 - 2006, is a graduate of the Leadership DeKalb Class of 2010 as well as being a guest speaker at several Leadership DeKalb sessions over the years, and has been involved in the community in a variety of ways.
