McMinnville Man Arrested for Delinquency and Solicitation of a Minor
Toby Pack

A McMinnville man was arrested last week after allegedly aiding a runaway, and for soliciting a minor through a popular social media platform.

According to Smithville Police Chief Mark Collins, 31-year-old Toby Denton Pack of Pleasant Hill Road, McMinnville, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and solicitation of a person under age 18, as a result of an undercover investigation conducted by Smithville Police.

Chief Collins said that during an investigation of a runaway, detectives determined that Pack gave the juvenile a ride from Smithville to Warren County, further preventing a safe return to her family or law enforcement.

Also, through an investigation, Chief Collins alleged that Pack, through “Snap Chat,” solicited an undercover law enforcement officer, posing as a 14-year-old female, to come to his house for sexual favors.

Collins reported that during an interview, Pack admitted to these charges.

Pack is under a $12,500 bond and is due in court on August 22.
