An early morning fire ravaged the home of Charles Beltz Monday morning. The home, at 386 Talley Road, was fully engulfed in flames as seen and reported by a next door neighbor. A vehicle parked at the basement level of the home was also consumed with fire. An explosion from the blaze was heard as far away as New Home and Patterson Roads. A female at the home received minor burns to her face and arms. The cause of the fire is unknown.
