State Senator Mark Pody will hold a listening tour in DeKalb County Friday in order to meet with local citizens to discuss issues of importance to them. He will also be available to offer assistance to individuals who need help with state services.
The meeting will be held on March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the DeKalb County Complex in the History Room located at 712 S. Congress Blvd. in Smithville.
“This is just an informal meet and greet-style listening tour to give me another opportunity to hear from local citizens about the issues we face in Tennessee,” said Sen. Pody. “I also want to remain available to help with state services. Many citizens call on us for help with a wide variety of state government needs and we are always happy to assist them.”
“I look forward to this event and hope to meet with our many wonderful friends here, both old and new, as we discuss how to make Tennessee a better place to work, live, and raise a family,” added Pody.
