Tripp Announces Bid for Alexandria Mayor
Beth Tripp

Hi, I am Beth Tripp, and I am running for Mayor of Alexandria. I would like to share with you a little information about myself.

I am a proud resident of Alexandria and a lifetime resident of DeKalb County. I was born and raised in Dowelltown, and my parents are Terry and Janie Pedigo of Smithville. My grandparents are Billy Webster of Dowelltown, James Robert Pedigo of Smithville, and Cecil and Sadie Waggoner of Smithville.

I have been married to my husband of over 20 years, J.R. Tripp of Liberty, Tn, and my mother and father-in-law are Kenneth and Patsy Tripp of Liberty.

My husband and I raised our two children, Faith and William, at our property in Liberty until 2015, when we decided to move to the wonderful town of Alexandria.

I attend church at West Main Baptist Church and am a devoted Christian, and have been involved with the Alexandria Fire Department as a member of the fire association. I have also served our community on the city council. I have a passion for helping others, I devote my time to helping the elderly, charity, and community work.

As mayor, I will work hard to support our residents and help them resolve issues. I want to make all the residents of Alexandria feel welcome to express their concerns and ideas. Thank you for your time and thank you for considering me as your next Mayor.
