Ashley Dawn Williams, 26, of Lebanon was arrested on Oct. 9, 2020 for identity theft. On March 1, 2020 used the name and social security of someone else to open an account with Xfinity. Williams admitted to the charge. The case was investigated by a sheriff’s detective.  She is to appear in court Oct. 29, 2020.

Cito Santiago Garcia, 22, of Rock Island was arrested Oct. 6, 2020 for driving under the influence. Sheriff Patrick Ray said deputy responded to a reckless driver call on McMinnville Highway. A sheriff’s department detective had already made contact with the driver. The deputy spoke with the driver who appeared to be under the influence. Garcia agreed and performed poorly on field sobriety tasks. He refused implied consent, and a search warrant was obtained for a blood test. He was also cited for simple possession as a pill believed to be oxycodone was found. He is to appear in court Oct. 28, 2020.
