Archie's hair makes the cut
Archi Reed

Is the mullet coming back? This business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back hairstyle took the 80’s by storm and was worn by movie stars and locals alike. Yet, the 2011 hit movie “Joe Dirt” whose character fashioned the 80’s do, did not necessarily bring the style back to life. But did you know there’s actually a mullet contest?

The USA Mullet Championships released the ‘Top 10 Kids Mullets’ in the country and a one-year old boy from Smithville has made the cut. Archie Reed, the son of John and Faidra Reed is the youngest contestant in the competition. He made it into the top ten with his “Tennessee Top Hat” mullet.
