Well, the most famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil is the name of a groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. I hope he is correct but, I don’t think he can predict Tennessee weather, we need our own Tennessee groundhog. I mean we have warm weather, rain, flash floods, tornado warnings, colder weather and snow all in one week. You may start out the door in a sweater and need a big coat, hat and gloves by the end of the day.
I was driving home this past Wednesday and I saw lots of water in people’s yards and a field that look like a small lake. Amazing how fast rain can flood a yard or a creek. I always said the best time if you’re looking to buy a house is go while it is raining and check the yard out. I have to pick my buttercups before the cold front comes in. I am so ready for spring.
I found out something interesting this week John Grisham and his wife have Alpha-Gal from the deer tick just like I do. They have a home in West Virginia and that is where the ticks love to be. He developed it first then his wife also was bitten by the tick. They are living a vegan lifestyle and doing just fine. It’s true you can adapt it is just very hard at first. Please protect yourself from ticks. I do not wish this on anyone. Another fact I read was that opossums eat all the ticks off themselves and about 96% around them. I need a pet opossum.
Remember in prayer: the family of Tom Cripps, the family of Tyler Vanhoose, the family of Puggy Cook.
