Birds singing their good morning song
carolgunter
Foggy this morning here on the mountain, but that cool breeze
feels so refreshing.  Birds are singing their good morning song,
because they are happy and "free as a bird."  Haven't seen any rabbits
yet.  I have plenty of them in case times get rough and a pot of
rabbit stew needs to be whipped up.  Squirrels may already be stocking
up on their winter supply of vittles.  They are pretty smart in
gathering nuts and other food essentials for their pantry.  The way
prices are going up on food we should be so smart as this winter could
be harsh and having extra food on hand could be a life saver.
Groceries are only going to get higher so my supply of tuna I've been
gathering with other food items will hopefully tide me over.  Hope
you, too, are thinking ahead on what you will be needing when winter
weather gets here and will be prepared for the long haul.  A little
preparation now can save you some money down the line.
I see no relief on those utility bills that we have to pay as
they, too, keep getting higher so anything we can do now to keep a few
dollars in our pocket is a plus for us.  I never saw all of this
coming so quickly that could change our spending habits so
drastically, did you?   It's like we're behind the eight ball.  Our
government is giving away billions of dollars to help others but not

the people here at home that need help desperately if we are survive.
