Young ladies ages seven to 12 years, competed last Wednesday night at the DeKalb County Fair where sister took home the title and crown in their respective pageant.
In the first contest of the night, Kallen Averi Curtis was crowned Miss Princess from a field of 14 contests. She is the eight year-old daughter of Heather Page and John Curtis of Smithville.
Kallen succeeds the retiring Miss Princess Chloe Payton Myers, who is the eight year-old daughter of Crystal Stibil of Smithville.
Haddeigh Grace Harvey was chosen first runner-up. She is the seven year-old daughter of Chad and Kayla Harvey of Alexandria.
Second runner-up went to Wrigley Marie Jared, the eight year-old daughter of Tim and Shelly Jared of Smithville. She was also named Miss Congeniality.
Ava Grace Roller received the award for Most Photogenic. She is the eight year-old daughter of George and Abbey Roller of Smithville.
Rounding out the top seven were Piper Chapman, Ava Grace Roller, Peyton Elizabeth Knowles, and Laylah Hale.
In the second pageant of the night, Addison Paige Curtis took the crown. She is the 11 year-old daughter of Heather Page and John Curtis of Smithville.
She succeeds the retiring Miss Sweetheart, Baylei Anne Benson of Smithville. Baylei is the 13 year-old daughter of Karey and John Washer and Christopher Benson of Smithville.
Shaniya Bates was chosen as first runner-up. She is the 10 year-old daughter of Tom and Chyna Bates of Liberty. Bates was also named Most Photogenic.
Second runner-up went to Arraya Jenae Taylor, the 11 year-old daughter of Angie Taylor of Smithville.
Eight year-old Wrigley Jared was named Miss Congenitally in the contest. She is the daughter of Tim and Shelly Jared of Smithville.
