Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Frazier of Huntsville, Alabama spent Labor Day weekend at their country home in the Vandagriff Hollow. To keep them company they brought their grandson, Harrison with them. He is a cute little baby boy.
The Frazier’s joined the family at the home of Louise Frazier for Sunday dinner.
Our community sends special get-well wishes to Al Brandon formally of Woodbury and Smithville. It has been reported that Al is sick and needs our prayers.
Some years ago, Al was in the furniture business with Tom Cathcart on Highway 70 going to Smithville. We have known Al for many years. We believe he resides in a southern state.
His parents, the Brandons, were well known residents of Woodbury. Please remember him in your prayers and may God’s love and mercy sustain him during his hour of need.

The Kimbrell’s all celebrated in September. We hear a rumors of a big celebration. Jimmy Kimbrell, Monica Reynolds, and Judy Kimbrell. Congratulations and happy birthday to all who celebrate in September.
Weekend guests of Jimmy and Judy Kimbrell were Randy and April Prince of St. Joseph, Ethan and Maggie and Jackson. They attended the U.T. Football game in Knoxville. They reported heavy rains at the game.
Tuesday night about midnight we had a severe storm with lightning and high winds. There has been no damage from the storm reported.
Richard and Delores Jones and Linda Franklin of Smithville visited Louise Frazier Thursday morning. They enjoyed talking about their travels out West, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, and others, Louise enjoyed their visit.
Jerald and Lisa Cripps visited Matthew and Melody Cripps, Owen and the new baby twins in Murfreesboro, Saturday.
Dry Creek Baptist Church celebrated Labor Day with a meeting at 5p.m. Sunday evening of fellowship, banana splits, hot dogs, and cold drinks in the fellowship hall. There was good attendance at this meeting. Worship service followed in the church auditorium.
