Synergy Mind & Body Studio will hold Community Classes on Sunday, January 6, with all proceeds going to the Friends of the Cookeville/Putnam County Animals P.E.T. Care Campus. On Synergy’s monthly Community Day, class attendees pay what they can, with 100% of the proceeds going to a specified charitable organization. On January 6, Registered Yoga Teacher, Beth Walker, will teach Community ‘Kitten Yoga’ at 2:00 p.m. Certified Pilates Teacher, Ariana Richards, will teach ‘Kitten Pilates’ at 3:15 p.m. These classes will feature kittens joining students in the studio during class; these adorable kittens will be available for adoption. Synergy community classes are open to the public and are completely donation-based.
The Friends of the Cookeville/Putnam Co. Animals is a non-profit organization supporting the Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter located on the P.E.T. Care Campus at 2650 Gainesboro Grade. The organization’s main objective is to raise public awareness in tending to lost and homeless animals within the community, as well as educate citizens on the importance of spay/neuter programs.
