Kyleigh Hill named DeKalb County Fair Miss Sweetheart

Kyleigh Breanne Hill of Smithville claimed the Miss Sweetheart crown at the fair.

 

Twelve lovely ladies competed for the title of Miss Sweetheart at the DeKalb County Fair last Wednesday night.

 

 

 

Kyleigh Breanne Hill of Smithville claimed the title and crown. She is the 12-year-old daughter of David and Colleen Clary of Smithville and Kyle Hill. She was also awarded the Miss Congeniality Award. Hill succeeds the reigning Miss Sweetheart Kenlee Renae Taylore, the 12-year-old daughter of Ken and Cindy Taylor of Smithville.

 

 

 

 

 

Eleven-year-old Graceson Boyd, daughter of Leslie Boyd of Smithville was named first runner-up.

 

 

 

Keara McKinsey Milligan received second runner-up and Most Photogenic. She is the 10-year-old daughter of Josh and Cyndi Milligan of Smithville.

 

 

 

Third runner-up went to 12-year old Jenna Elizabeth Wright. She is the daughter of Jeff and Nicole Wright of Smithville.

 

 

 

Kaylee Liggett received fourth runner-up. She is the 10-year-old daughter of Justin and Brandi Liggett of Smithville.

 

 

 

Others participating were Sadie Irene Strawser, 10-year old-daughter of Ronni Jo and Curtis Shelton of Smithville; Hope Lynn Mullins, 11-year-old daughter of Ellissa Howard of Smithville; Makinzy Lynn Jenkins, 10-year-old daughter of Wally Rackley of Sparta. She lives with her aunt, Maranda Washer of Smithville; Leauna Cullum, 10-year-old granddaughter of Candy Hale of Smithville; Blair Gipe, 11-year-old daughter of Janice Gipe-Penny and Gary King of Liberty; Hannah Dawn Hall, 12-year-old daughter of Joseph and April Hall of Dowelltown; and Elizabeth Gaines, 12-year-old daughter Beverly Anderson of Smithville.

 

 

 

The top six were announced after the preliminary round which consisted of Hill, Boyd, Milligan, Wright, Liggett, and Jenkins.
