Yvonne Hendrixson Bonner called me to tell Ralph about the Cross Roads School reunion coming up on Nov. 1. Wanda Stanley Wallace, Peggy Braswell Caldwell and Yvonne are putting it together.
She said that all former Cross Roads students are being invited to the Mt. Herman Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for the program. Everyone is asked to bring pictures and anything from his or her days at Cross Roads. Also, those attending should bring some finger foods. Soft drinks, plates and such will be provided.
Ralph is planning to attend, and hopes that many will be there to share stories and memories about Cross Roads School. Ralph spent eight years at Cross Roads, beginning with Mrs. Alice Foster as his first-grade teacher and Mr. Ben Adamson as his eighth-grade teacher and principal.
