Students from Northside who are in the summer school program got to get out of the classroom Thursday morning and head to downtown. The students toured the Smithville Fire Hall, getting up close looks at the fire engines before they went to the nearby DeKalb County Courthouse. They were each given backpacks during their tour of the county mayor's office.
