Stay home, be safe

We were told that the next two week would be rough by President Trump. I have really never been through anything like this especially being confined. While confined at home and working from home I see many things that I take for granted the ability to go to the stores, shopping. That is not so bad but not being able to see all your family and your church family is not good. Yes, I know I can Facetime but it is not the same. I do get to see most of my family. My two children, Lindsy and Hayden are both healthcare workers and are considered essential. I pray for them and I am scared for them but I am also proud of them for the jobs that they do. So a shout out to all healthcare workers, Sheriff Department, City Police Department, EMT’s, Ambulance Service, Firefighters, Hospital, Doctor Offices, Health Department, Caney Fork, Smithville Electric, DTC workers, the devoted and tired store workers, clerks, stockers, truck drivers, the many restaurants doing drive-thru and curb side, Emergency Management, the people making the masks, and many more. Please forgive me if I have left someone out. There are so many people working to help this pandemic to go away.

Tara Driver thanks for the idea of the Rainbow. I know children have been going around searching for them. At this time there is no such thing as small gesture every gesture is big. Everyone needs something bright and fun to do and Tara provided that.

I am proud to live in DeKalb County. We are a small community that do big things. There are plenty of church services that you can watch online. I hope in your time of trouble you turn to Jesus our Lord and Savior. Just pray to Him he will hear your prayer. Jesus is our only hope in time of trouble. If you don’t know Him I pray that you will.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

Everyone have a blessed day.
