This is lucky week 7 of Through the Grapevine and the number “7” is believed to represent GOD’s perfection, completeness and totality. I couldn’t resist researching this for you.
GOOD NEWS: Friend forever, Tommy Alexander, is now a patient at the Railbird Park in McMinnville, Tennessee for physical therapy. Blessings to Tommy and his family at this very difficult life event.
The following is one of my favorite poems of forever:
“He has achieved success
Who has lived well,
Laughed often, and loved much;
Who has enjoyed the trust of a pure woman.
The respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
Who has left the world better than he found it
Whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul;
Who has never lacked appreciation of Earth’s beauty or failed to express it.
Who have always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction.

WEEKLY LUCY UPDATE: Oh, Lordy. I think Lucy is falling faster than me. As Dad always said, “I need the proof,” so here you go. One ordinary day, “UP” called me. Great. Then she seriously said, “I forgot why I called you. Well, bye.” I sat mesmerized and somewhat confused, so I called her back to see if her conversation had anything to do with a red sofa in Jim’s former law office. “YEP!” she said. I laughed my butt off. She didn’t.
Until next week, be nice!
