West Walnut Street Art Walk
Art walk

Smithville, TN – Eat. Shop. Drink. Music. That’s what you can expect when artisans and vendors descend upon Walnut Street in Historic Downtown Smithville, Tennessee, on Friday, September 27, for the Third Annual Art Walk on West Walnut.

The street will become a safe-walking pedestrian area, akin to a European Street Fair, with the festivities occurring from 5pm-9pm. Organizers have curated a variety of art mediums this year. Emerging Artists will join many returning Artists from previous years like wood workers, jewelers, sculptors, painters & photographers. Organizations like Art Round Tennessee and Off the Beaten Path will also be on hand to meet and greet the public.

This event is free and open to the public, with local food and beverage options available for purchase. A private collection of artworks, including an authentic Pierre Auguste Renoir, will be on display in the courtyard of The Carriage House at 105 N 4th Street.

West Walnut will be lit with cafe’ lights, live music featuring local talent will also be shining under the stars. The “Faces & Places” exhibit at The Arts Garage will still be on view during the Art Walk.

A favorite feature of this event is the Community Art Project for the public. Any age is invited to participate. Join the fun, shop, eat, drink & more! It’s never too early to shop for the holidays, or for yourself! So, make plans to join us at the Third Annual Art Walk on West Walnut on Friday, September 27th!
