Hope you're doing well today and ready to face the day with a
smile. You may not feel that great when you get up in the morning and
have to get out the door for work but just be glad you can and thank
God for another day. We all have problems, but I have found greeting
people with a smile or just saying "hi" can point your day in the
right direction as most people, if they are fully awake, will return
that same courtesy to you. Your kindness may have been what someone
needed that day. Start counting the many blessings in your life that
so many people do not have and that can bring you down to earth pretty
quick. Each day we should live to its fullest and enjoy our family,
friends and others that we come in contact with for there is no
guarantee we will be here tomorrow.
Kim Hall and son, "A.J." stopped by on Wednesday evening. They
are all doing well. Good to visit with you guys. Made my evening to
see you.
I had decided to take down the picture of an alien with the
caption of the little, green, bald-headed fella reading "We Are Out
There" with his index finger pointing outward from the shelf in my
office. A news flash on television has stopped me from doing that as
around thirty people from the government were confirming what we lay
people have been suspecting for a long time that there was and still
is a cover-up regarding the existence of aliens. Wouldn't "Clyde and
Bobby" be happy with that kind of clarity finally being told to all of
us that would listen? I know that "Aubrey" would have chimed in on
that kind of news and had a ball saying that he had been living with
an alien (that being me) for forty years. True it is that when I
would arise of a morning, I had the Phyllis Diller look not the look
of an alien. Oh well, for the time being, the alien's picture is now
back on the shelf.
Tony and Tracy Neal still doing ok. It is always a joyful
conversation with these two individuals as they make your day go so
much better.
Stopping by the house this week were Dusty and Kristie Johnson,
Ashlee and Leah, Rex Pedigo and little four-year-old Aubrey, Russell
Taylor, Rick Hubler, and Connie Cantrell. Met up with Virginia
Waycaster, Donna Prater and Lincoln Sanders at our local store last
week. Always good to see friends and catch up on what's going on with
them and their families.
Please keep in your prayers the following people as I know they
would appreciate it: Dusty Johnson, Mary Melton, Diane Evans, Rose
Watts, Walter and Faye Ferrell, Ann Warren, Ruth Brown, Michael
Prater, Burley Bogle (he's had a terrible cold but is doing some
better), Sherry Gannon, the people of Israel and Ukraine, the leaders
of our country and the families of Kevin Daniel Hale and George Pitts
in the loss of their loved ones.
Birthdays for the month of April to let you know about: Connor
Meyncke 2nd, Junior Watts 4th, Jeanette Smithson 4th, Claire Nicole
O'Neal 9th, Carolyn Fryar 12th (our daughter), Diane Evans 12th, Wanda
Dunham 16th, Dusty Johnson 17th, Kim Hall 18th, Brooklyn Pedigo 30th,
and Debbie Melton 30th.
Worked on our mailbox yesterday evening. The birds will try to
destroy what I have done as they usually do in getting greenery and
flowers off of it to help in the building of their nests. It's a
constant struggle dealing with birds that have this ritual to do away
with anything that I create that looks, in my opinion, pretty cool.
Have A Great Day!
Therefore, My beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord. I Corinthians 15:58
