Funeral services for Ammon Davis Billings Jr., 63, of Smithville, were held May 13 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale and Josh Bell officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.    
Mr. Billings passed away May 11 at DeKalb Community Hospital emergency room. He was retired from Carrier after 36 years of service and was affiliated with Indian Creek Baptist Church.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ammon Davis and Hazel Pauline Mabe Billings Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Teresa Billings of Smithville; four children, Scarlet Adcock of Smyrna, Aleisha Fuson, Tonya Evans and Ammon “Trey” (Heather) Billings III, all of Smithville; seven grandchildren, Brandon Adcock, Jessica Billings, Megan Evans, Jacob Billings, Olivia Fuson, Skylar Fuson and Victoria Billings.
Pallbearers included Brandon Adcock, Trey Billings, Mike Conley, Leroy Guy Sr., Johnny Guy, Jerry Redmon, Jeffrey Redmon, Bob Luna.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
