Funeral service for Amon J. Pack, 86, of Woodbury was held Aug. 27 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Bro. David Moody officiated with burial following at Mr. Holly Cemetery.Mr. Pack passed away Sunday, Aug. 25 at St. Thomas Rutherford.Mr. Pack was a retired deacon of Burt Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII serving in the Army, a life long former and native of DeKalb County.He was preceded in death by parents, Anderson J. Pack and Ruby Allen Johson Pack; brother, Lewis Pack.He is survived by wife of 65 years, Barbara C.
