Amy Livia Robinson, age 94, of Smithville, passed away at her residence Friday, March 1, 2024.

 

Ms. Amy was a faithful member of Smithville First Freewill Baptist Church and a Missionary for 31 years. When you read Proverbs 31, this is the perfect description of Mrs. Amy, a virtuous woman.  A faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, Christian and friend. 

 

 

She was born May 13, 1929, to her parents the late Arsenie S. and Livia Igrisan Lucaciu. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robinson; brother, Julius Lucaciu.

 

She is survived by two children, Ken (Bea) Robinson of Murfreesboro, and Rebecca (Dave) Parker of Smithville; grandchildren, Paul Holland, Chloe (Collin) Calhoun, Claire Robinson, Zach (Amanda) Parker, Sammantha Parker, Hannah Parker; great-grandchildren, Brett Calhoun, Cameron Calhoun; sister, Marion (Tom) Monroe of Michigan; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Funeral service was held Monday, March 4, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bernard Houk and Bro. Andy Patterson officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

 

Pallbearers included Colin Calhoun, David Ellison, Lee Isler, Billy Fulcher, Kevin Bustillo, and John Poss. Honorary pallbearers were Gerordo Acevedo, and David Acevedo.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
