Funeral services for A.Z. “Jack” Judkins, 88, of Smithville were held March 11 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial was at Bonham Cemetery.
Mr. Judkins passed away March 9 at Centennial Medical Center. He was a retired bridge builder.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ollie Lorene Cantrell Judkins; parents William Hurshell and Martha Harriett Martin Judkins; three brothers Jess, Edd and Frank A. Judkins; a sister Bet Judkins; and two sons-in-law Wayne Bates and Kenneth Evans.
Survivors include four daughters Vicky Bates of Smithville, Karen (Charles) Pollard of Sparta, Janice Evans of Georgia and Melissa (Jeff) Ward; a son Randy Judkins; four granddaughters Angel (Charles) Burrage of Smithville, Jennifer  (Aaron) Young of Sparta, Amanda (Doug) Tuder of St. Louis and Tia Ward of Smithville; two great-grandsons, William Cody Burrage of Smithville and Joshua Rice of Sparta; and four sisters, Ophaline Knowles, Nettie (Johnny) Ringo, all of McMinnville, Martha Ferrell and Ruth Cantrell, both of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Charles Burrage, Steve Green, Aaron Young, Doug Tuder and Randall Young.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
