Fuson
Barbara Joan Taylor Fuson age 75 of Nashville and DeKalb County native, passed away Tuesday night, October 18, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital Midtown.
She was born December 25, 1940 to her parents, the late Martin and Novie Yates Taylor.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Jo Parton, Carnell Keith, Elizabeth Young, and Patty Trusty; 3 brothers, Albert Taylor, Solon Taylor and James Taylor.
Barbara was a Baptist and a retired County Clerk with Metro Nashville Government with 25 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James C. Fuson of Nashville; 2 children, Michael (Dawn) Fuson of Madison and Lisa (David) Jones of Cottontown; 4 grandchildren, Kevin (Devon) Southgate, Justin Fuson, Courtney Fuson and Lacy Jones; 2 great-grandchildren, Carolina Wright and Jaxton Southgate; 1 brother, Doyle Taylor of Smithville; 2 brothers-in-law, Frank Parton and Wayne (Peggy) Fuson both of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 21, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale officiated with interment following in Mt. Holly Cemetery.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
