Funeral service for Beulah May “Faye” Young, age 75, was held October 22, 2017 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Bryan Jones officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Faye passed away October 19, 2017, at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville. She was a member of Pomeroy Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and retired from Fuston’s Antiques.

She was born November 10, 1941 to her parents, the late Paul V. and Ruth N. Caplinger Sandlin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Garland, Gene and Doug Sandlin.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 59 years, Thomas M. Young of Smithville; son, Tim (Karen) Young of Smithville; grandson, Jessie (Megan) Anderson of Gallatin; great-grandson, Dylan (Hannah) Anderson of Ft. Worth, Texas and Lane Anderson of Gallatin; sister, Geneva (Thomas) Taylor of Smithville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Pallbearers included Jessie Anderson, Gary Davis, Terry Turner, Steve Merriman, Eddie Stanley, and Darrell Young.

Honorary pallbearers were Rick Mahler, John Poss, Ricky Johnson, Nelson Sandlin, Lanny Sandlin, and Michael Tisdale.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, TN, was in charge of the arrangements.
