Billie Sue Parker, 87, of Smithville died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at NHC Place Sumner in Gallatin. Born in DeKalb County to the late Othel Claxton and Velma Hendrixson Farler and is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth T. Parker.

She was a lifelong member of the Snow Hill United Methodist Church. She served on the board and was treasurer of the Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery and Commissioner at the Smithville Housing Authority and an alumnus of the Liberty High School.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Doris Parker of Gallatin and extended family, cherished friends and neighbors, and her church family. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Snow Hill United Methodist Church. Royce Martin officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Snow Hill United Methodist Church or to the Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery.
