Funeral services for Bob Curtis, 75, of McMinnville were held Jan. 4 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Steve Brown officiated, with burial following at Providence Cemetery in the Lucky community.
He passed away Jan. 1 at his residence. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and retired from the DeKalb County Highway Department.
He was the son of the late Landy Lee and Lucille Evans Curtis.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kimberly Curtis; one grandson, Robby R. Curtis; two brothers, Davie and Arthur Curtis; two sisters, Jessie Dunn and Ruth Adkins.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evie Curtis of McMinnville; three sons, Bobby J. Curtis Jr., Ronnie J. Curtis and Ricky L.(Jenni) Curtis all of McMinnville; eight grandchildren, Bobby J. Curtis III, Julie N. McCormack, Laura C. Curtis, Christina M. Curtis, Rachel D. Gay, Cory Curtis, Ricky L. Curtis Jr., Landry R. Curtis; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger (Polly)  of Florida; one sister, Betty (Kenny) Laboe of Smithville.
Pallbearers included; B.J. Curtis, Ricky L. Curtis, Jr., Allen McCormack, Randy Carrier, Dale Curtis, and Bobby Macey.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
