Bobby Wayne "BJ" Pinegar Jr, age 48, of Smithville passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital.

He was born on June 30, 1976 in Smithville, TN.

He was a Baptist, construction worker, certified HVAC technician and loved playing the guitar. 

The family has chosen cremation. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. 

Survivors include his parents, Bobby "Bear" and Paula Pinegar, Sr of Smithville; sister, Sandy (Mike ) Gillentine; nieces, Breanna Knowles (Curtis Thomas) of Clarksville and Britney Knowles of NC; nephew, Zach (Kiersten) Gillentine; great nephew, Denver Gillentine both of Tullahoma and special friend, Shellie Bain of Smithville. 

The family chose cremation. A visitation with the family was held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the funeral home.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
