Funeral services for Jimmy Cantrell, 72, of Smithville were held on Nov. 18 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bernard Houk officiated, with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

 

He passed away Nov. 16 at NHC Healthcare.

 

He was a retired self-employed carpenter and affiliated with Mt. Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cantrell and Cordie Taylor Cantrell Campbell; wife, Reba Hale Cantrell.

 

He is survived by one daughter, Kathy and Marvin Hale; one son, Tim and Tonya Cantrell, all of Woodbury; four grandchildren, Alisha Hale of Smithville, Zachary, Kelly, and Eli Cantrell of Woodbury; four brothers, Charles and Helen Cantrell of Dowelltown, Jack and Lestel Cantrell of Lebanon, Danny Cantrell, Jeff and Lori Campbell; one sister, JoAnn and Doris Campbell all of Woodbury.

 

Pallbearers included; Russell Miller, Kevin, Preston, and Jamie Campbell, Brad Prater, Greg Fish, Tony Cantrell, and Carl Byford.

 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements
