Carolyn Louise Poteete, age 76, of Liberty passed away July 4, 2021 at her home.

She was the cafeteria manager at Wright Middle School. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She was born in Nashville on July 21, 1944 to parents Robert Benderman and Margaret Mathis which precede her in death.

Mrs. Poteete is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronnie Poteete; children, Phil (Lisa), Jeff (Debra) Ken (Angela); eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and sister, Sharron Hurt.

A memorial service was held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Lohorn officiating.

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of the arrangements.
