Charles Wilson Love, age 75, of Smithville, passed away Sunday night September 13, 2020 at his home.

 He was a Baptist and a sports enthusiast. 

 Mr. Love was born September 15, 1944 to his parents, the late Charlie and Louvella Love. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Love and sister, Judy Love Merriman.

 Mr. Love is survived by nephew, Don Merriman of Smithville; special family, Shawna Davenport of Murfreesboro, Shawn (Angela) Puckett of Smithville.

 Funeral service was held Friday, September 18, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Shannon Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

 Pallbearers included George Tate, Tom Barrett, Bret Prater, Brian Puckett, Shawn Puckett, and Cary Tate.

 The family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
