Funeral services for Charlie B. Hendrixson, 90, of Smithville were held Jan. 15 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. David Mahan officiated with burial following at Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Hendrixson passed away Jan. 12 at Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was a retired carpenter and attended Gath Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Lassiter Hendrixson; parents Charlie Robert and Ethil Childress Hendrixson; brothers Jay and Robert Hendrixson; and a sister Sally Mabel Brown.
Survivors include his two daughters Brenda Whitlock of Lascassas and Wanda Hendrixson of Smithville; two sons Rick Hendrixson of Palm Desert, Calif., and David (Kathy) Hendrixson of Smithville; grandchildren Michael (Stacie) Whitlock and Sherry Breedlove, all of Murfreesboro, Christy (Mark) Steel of Cookeville and Chad (Julie) Hendrixson of Smithville; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Michael, Jacob and Noah Whitlock, Mark Steel, Sam Hendrixson, Bobby Blythe and Tony Breedlove.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
