Chrissy Means

Ms. Chrissy Jenee Clayton Means, age 44, of Cookeville and DeKalb County, native, passed away early Thursday morning, March 10, 2022 at her home. 

 

Chrissy was born on February 18, 1978 in Smithville to her parents, Bobbie Joyce Taylor Clayton and the late Phillip Mason Clayton. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Joyce Taylor and Paul and Jean Clayton. Chrissy was a Licensed Practical Nurse and attended Life Church. 

 

Survivors include her daughter, Addy Means of Cookeville; mother, Bobbie Clayton of Smithville; brothers, Scott Clayton of Cookeville and Ryan (Magen) Clayton of Smithville;  nephews, Kaleb Clayton and Seth Clayton both of Cookeville and Parker Clayton of Smithville; niece, Riley Clayton of Smithville;  special friend, Amy (Eckert) Higuera of Colorado. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Friends also survive. 

 

Funeral services was held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Pastor Eddie Turner officated. Burial followed at Mt. Holly Cemetery.

 

Serving as pallbearers were Brad, Brady, Garrett & Levi Driver, Dakota White, and Derek Carter.

 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
