Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Adcock, 70, of Smithville were held July 15 at Dekalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Eugene Adkins and Dan Gulley officiated with burial following in Corinth Cemetery.

 

She passed away July 13 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

 

She was the daughter of the late John and Mettie Neeley Green.

 

She was retired from LBJ&C Headstart and a member of the Keltonburg Church of Christ.

 

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by son, Davy Adcock; sister, Elsie Steinbach; brother, Kenny Green.

 

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Albert Adcock of Smithville; daughter, Emma (Eugene) Adkins of Smithville; granddaughter, Ellie Adkins; three sisters, Sara Adcock of Murfreesboro, Joyce (Chester) Carman of Louisville and Fay Cantrell of Smithville; five brothers; James (Ginny) Green of Columbia, Tommy Green of Smithville, John (Judie) Green of Sparta, Eddie (Carol) Green and Jack (Deana) Green all of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Pallbearers; Douglas Adcock, Larry Adcock, Matthew Bouldin, John Green, Eddie Green and Ben Herrin.
