Clara Mae Goodman, age 98, of Smithville, passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. 

 She was the oldest member of Keltonburg United Methodist Church. 

 She was born October 17, 1923 to her parents, the late John D. & Hattie Estelle Young. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.R. Goodman; son, Donnie Goodman; daughter, Jean Atnip. 

 Survivors include son, Lloyd (Pat) Goodman; son-in-law, Eugene Atnip of Smithville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; several great-great-great grandchildren.  

 Funeral service was held Sunday, February 13, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Hill officiating and burial followed in the Keltonburg Cemetery. 

  Pallbearer included Cody Merriman, Travis Bogle, Terry Sanders, Stacy Goodman, Justin Blair, and Jerry Potts.

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
