Clent Richard Bibby, age 50, of Smithville passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. 

 He was born June 22, 1970 in Smithville, to his parents, George and Linda Lou Linder Bibby.  He was a Baptist and a mechanic. 

 Clent is survived by his parents, George and Linda Linder Bibby of Smithville; sister, Linda Fay Bibby of Murfreesboro; three step-children, Beth Buck of Sparta, Billy Martin and Shawn Buck both of Smithville; eight step-grandchildren; three aunts, Debra Anderson, Patricia Linder and Linda F. Bibby; three uncles, David Linder, Ervin Bibby and Benny Bibby and several cousins.

 Funeral service was held Friday, September 25, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. Burial followed in Hodge Cemetery. 

 Pallbearers included Steve Parmer, Billy Martin, Doug Boyd, Damian Martin, Keith Buck, and Jonathon Knowles

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was  in charge of the arrangements.
