Clinton Elias Gottlied, the four month-old son of Christian and Summer Gottlied of Sparta passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.

 He is preceded in death by a cousin, Everleigh Vincent. Grandmother, Jerri Spivey. Great Grandmother, Linda Spivey and great grandfather, Jerome Teachout.  

 In addition to his parents, Clinton is survived by a brother, Johnathin Gottlied of Sparta; grandparents, John Gottlied III of Sparta, Tierra Yho of Sparta  and Clinton Spivey of Coalmont; great grandparents, Brenda Teachout of New York, Mary Gottlied  and John Gottlied II both of Sparta;  aunts and uncles, Cierra Cawthorne, Catherine Gottlied, James Gottlied, Clarissa Claiborne, Ray (Brittany) Vincent, Amanda (Drake Clouse) Vincent, Seth (Kayla) Vincent and Kaitlyn Spivey. 

 A memorial service will be held for Clinton will be held at a later time. 

 Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
